The new H7-casing of the XPC Barebone SN78SH7 combines the best features of many successful Shuttle Mini-PCs and is ushering in the next generation. The Mini-PC-Barebone's technical highlights include the use of the NVIDIA GeForce 8200 chipset which already supports DirectX 10 and HDMI. That this XPC Barebone is the ideal base for AMD's innovative Phenom Multi-Core-processors based on the Socket AM2+, is reinforced by a highly effective 300 watt power supply. Current graphics cards with PCI-E 2.0 are supported without any problems in this attractive aluminium casing. Purchasers can expect a true "Auditory Cinema" due to the outstanding sound quality produced through the DTS Connect and Dolby Digital Live!
This barebones system comprises of a case fitted with a PSU and motherboard. Bring in the essential components - a processor, a hard disk drive, a graphics card and a DVD or CD drive - along with an operating system, and you have your desktop PC ready to go! Add extra hard drives and cards as and when needed!

80 PLUS Certified Power Supplies The 80 PLUS performance specification requires power supplies in
computers and servers to be 80% or greater energy-efficient. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SG45H7 features a powerful 300W power supply with 80 PLUS validation as standard. The new power supplies of the H7 chassis series use a 50mm cooling fan providing the same airflow, but spins slower than previous 40mm models to make the system run even more quietly.
Supports 2x SATA + 2x eSATA with RAID Two SATA hard disks can be installed in the Shuttle XPC Barebone
SN78SH7. In addition, two further hard disks can be connected to the PC using its eSATA ports for three times faster speeds as known from the USB 2.0 standard. The mainboard chipset also supports RAID that is a method of combining multiple hard disks in a single logical unit to offer higher performance (Raid 0 = Striping) or higher security (Raid 1 = Mirroring) or a combination of both.
