"As a surveyor I’m always on the road. I visit on average five to six different sites a day – sometimes it might be a meeting at a coffee shop, but most often I’m visiting development sites. I was using Office 2010, but after trying Office Home & Business 2016 I could immediately see how much better the new features made the likes of Word and Excel. And OneDrive means that I can access, edit and share stored files using my phone or tablet, so I can work effectively wherever my office is. I use OneNote to keep track of comments made during meetings (and it’s great for shopping lists too!). I can even record my client conversations and capture pictures while I’m on-site. All my routine admin is easier too. Outlook now moves ‘Clutter’ emails into a separate folder. Excel has new features that mean I can analyse and visualise data better. And real-time co-authoring means that anyone I’m working with can view and edit Word when I’m creating reports, so it’s quicker and more accurate. The updated applications are great for managing my home life too – I can backup family snaps on OneDrive and keep track of business and personal appointments in one place in the Outlook calendar."
