Our Designed Induction/On Boarding Programme

On-Boarding Programme

The Misco On-Boarding Programme has been designed to help you become comfortable with your role here in as short a time as possible. It’s a 12 week programme, and has been designed by Misco employees, for Misco employees, covering every aspect of your job.

When we created our On-Boarding Programme, the number one goal was always simple: Ensure that everyone who joins our business receives the same level of training, regardless of their employment history or where they are going to work. As such, it’s been designed to give you as a new member of our team an effective tool to track and manage your own learning and development, so that you know how you’re getting on at any point during your On-Boarding, and can feel confident about your own progress.

Here’s a sample of some of the contents of your On-Boarding Programme:

  • One week Induction course at our Head Office
  • Sales training at various levels of expertise
  • Full training for the use of our IT systems
  • Using the Internet to source new sales opportunities
  • How to effectively manage your client database
  • How to effectively manage your time and workload
  • Technology and product specific training

We look forward to welcoming you on-board!

Mentoring and On-going Support

Mentoring and On-going Support

We know that starting any new role is a challenge, and here at Misco we’re keen to give you all the help we can to ensure that you’re performing your new role to the best of your ability as quickly as possible. We’re proud of our training programme, but we know that having someone available to speak to who’s already doing the same job as you is a valuable tool, and that’s why we created the mentor programme.

The premise is simple – when you join our Premier Sales team, you will be assigned a mentor. This will be an experienced Account Manager, someone who is already doing the job you’ll be doing, and can share with you all the tips and insider advice to help you achieve your targets quickly. You’ll be introduced to your mentor as early on in your career as possible, and they will stay with you for your entire first year. You’ll work closely with them, can bounce ideas off of them and ask them for help when you’re unsure of anything. It’s in our mentor’s best interests to see you do well, so you can expect them to help you every step of the way.

We’ve found it to be really successful so far, and it’s a key part of our commitment to your learning and development when you join the team here at Misco.

As well as the above our training team are always on hand to give you any additional training and support you feel you need. This could take the form of group training sessions or one to one coaching.
