Nathan Dorrington – Credit and Risk Manager
I originally joined Misco in 2001 as a credit controller in my first office based role. Right from day one I was struck by the strong work ethic and the high standard of customer service that the company strives to achieve. I left in 2003 under the impression this would be the same wherever I worked but this was rarely the case.
I returned as credit control supervisor in 2006 and was recently promoted to the role of UK credit and risk manager. I’d like to think that part of my career progression is down to the values installed in me all those years ago and it’s now a key part of my role to ensure that others inherit those same values.
My advice to anyone looking to join Misco is if you like to work hard and treat customers how you would wish to be treated then you have come to the right place! |
Emma Hunt – Database Marketing Executive
Since joining Misco 7 years ago, I have been given the opportunity to increase my job knowledge and further my skills within the Database Marketing Department. I have attended various training courses which have helped me to develop in my role, and gain a better understanding of the complete marketing mix.
The people are what makes working for Misco even more enjoyable! There is a great team approach from everyone that works here, and each department works together to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Misco is a lively, fast paced company where no two days are the same! If you are prepared to work hard, you will be given opportunities to progress within the company, and develop your career. |

I have enjoyed my first days with the company and have felt very welcome in my training and with my team. There is nothing I would recommend changing other than putting a warning on the cheesecake in the canteen for being highly addictive! Adam White - Premier Sales Executive
