Some key tips when signing for and checking your parcels:
- Always check how many parcels are being delivered against those originally ordered. This information will be on the handheld device or the manifest sheet the drivers have with them.
- Take your time to check to your delivery, don’t assume everything will be ok and that all the parcels are there.
- It is your responsibility to amend the proof of delivery if a parcel is missing or if any of the goods are damaged. Unchecked is not a suitable amendment to the proof of delivery. You will need to check the parcels and provide a suitable amendment, for example, one parcel missing, only 10 received.
