REACH - New European Union Regulation
< back to help centerREACH (the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation 1907/2006) applies to chemicals manufactured by and imported into the European Union. The REACH requirements will be phased in through a number of deadlines from 2008, culminating in 2018.
REACH was formulated to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the introduction of a single system to gather hazard information, assess risks, classify, label, and restrict the marketing and use of individual chemicals and mixtures.
What is Misco’s involvement?
Misco supports the objectives of REACH and is committed to meeting the REACH requirements and ensuring that our products are safe for both our customers and the environment. In particular Misco will continue to work with our customers and suppliers to ensure compliance up until 2018 and beyond.
