With technology you can learn what you want, when you want, whatever your age. Home Access is about getting families online at home – so whether you want to get more involved in your children’s learning, improve your skills or even start shopping online there are many benefits to having technology at home.
The programme will help to get families who currently do not have access to a computer or the internet at home get online.
Home Access packages include a computer, service and support and / or internet access to enable your child to become more motivated and engaged in their learning to help them achieve more.
Having the internet at home is likely to help the children do better at school and can provide all the benefits of online services to the whole family.

The Home Access scheme has made a big difference to us because it means we have got access to the internet when we need it, not just when we can get it at the library. I used to be worried about Evan getting left behind. It’s been a big change because I can just look up jobs or apply to different courses and just do lots of things that I wouldn’t have been able to do.
